Our favorite Hosta expert thinks this the most beautiful Hosta - ever! 'Great Expectations' has a big, wide, blue-green margin with yellow to white center, and is large and showy with broad leaves. A slow grower, but when you see the foliage you will not care! This hosta prefers some morning sun to do well. Plant in garden beds en masse as a ground cover, or in patio pots. Hostas thrive in moist, well drained soil which is slightly acidic. Keep the soil moist but not saturated.
